Hello,
I've downloaded Cinema 4D R18 and mounted the .iso file successfully, but when
I run the setup, I receive an error message: the program xxx.exe has
encountered a serious problem and needs to close.
Are there any solutions or I just have to wait for the new version ?

Oops that chip.de site makes you fill out some survey or something when
downloading (my German is rusty)

I found an alternative download of a trial version of this program here:

Can you check whether R17 and earlier run for you?

Would you be willing to submit and application version and test results for
R18?

I didn't test R17 and lower versions yet, I'll try installing R17
I think I found that Wine in his latest version is compatible with R17 and
lower
