In the addon to Supreme Commander, Ground decals get created when a building is built. If the fidelity is set to Low, they don't work properly. They are displayed fully white (see screen)

Now comes the interesting part. If I switch to medium fidelity they get displayed just fine. If I switch back to Low now, they are _still_ displayed properly.
I think that some D3D capability is switched on by setting the game to Medium fidelity that stays one after switching back to Low. But don't take my word on it, as I'm no expert.
I'm open for further tests.

Yes, it is (wine 1.1.31) need to set medium details
