--- Comment #1 from foo rebecca.gettys@comcast.net 2007-12-25 13:57:39 --- You need to have the game to reproduce this bug - as far as I know there is no demo - or least not one that will work.

--- Comment #2 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-12-25 14:28:54 --- What Wine version? Have you tried moving ~/.wine directory aside and trying again? Are there are any messages in the terminal? If so, please attach (if more then 10 please attach as a text file).

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2007-12-26 19:13:49 --- A simple Google search found this:
http://www.29soft.com/pc_game_download/Nancy_Drew_The_Haunted_Carousel/
Does it show the same problem?

--- Comment #4 from foo rebecca.gettys@comcast.net 2007-12-26 19:20:26 --- I don't know - it says I'm outside of the territory for downloading it, or I certainly would give it a try.

--- Comment #5 from foo rebecca.gettys@comcast.net 2007-12-26 19:26:09 --- I also found that it installed fine under 0.9.50 - although I got issues with securom, this bug wasn't present - so this is a new error.

I tried your first request multiple times - no avail. I'm on wine 0.9.51. As to errors, they're at: http://pastebin.com/m784d3c2e
Or at least, all of them that I could get (they got cut off by the terminal, there were so many).
And as for my last comment, I think I need to clarify:
I'm using the download version of this game - Which is why I'm getting the securom issue(I think), as it was just added recently so it probably didn't happen for the maintainer, who almost certainly had the disk. Other Nancy Drew games that were installed from disk with wine don't get the securom error - for reasons I don't understand, but wil explain why the maintainer didn't have that problem.
