Summary: Ability to move child versions between apps Product: WineHQ Apps Database Version: unspecified Platform: Other URL: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?bIsQueue=false &bIsRejected=false&sClass=application&iId=71&sAction=sho wMoveChildren&sTitle=Move+Child+Objects OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: website-bugs AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: marco@harddisk.is-a-geek.org
Although I am only maintainer of GTA Vice City, I am theoretically able to move child objects between different applications by using the URL http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?bIsQueue=false&bIsRejected=fal..., which I find in every application entry although I am sure that I didn't ask for being a AppDB maintainer.

--- Comment #2 from Marco Schuster marco@harddisk.is-a-geek.org 2007-11-03 17:09:20 --- When I as appmaintainer view the test queue of Vice City (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=testData_queue&bIsQueue=true&sTitle=Test%20Results%20Queue) and click on the link to the app (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1369), I am again able to move child versions.

--- Comment #3 from Alexander Nicolaysen Sørnes alex@thehandofagony.com 2007-11-04 05:59:37 --- Yes, now it appears because you are a maintainer of the application. Even though you get a list of all applications, you will only be able to move versions to other apps you maintain. This should probably be fixed so you only get a list of apps you _can_ move to, or the list should only be shown to admins.

--- Comment #4 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2009-02-16 15:13:49 --- I see this has been open a while...
When trying to move child objects between versions, every version of every app is listed, which isn't very useful.
