Office 2003 Installer fails in Wine 1.17 while it works in WINE 1.16

It fails imediately after pressing "Install"

I can confirm this. Results of the regression test:

The Office 2007 installer is also broken, though it crashes later in the
install process (about 2/3 of the way through). A regression test identified
the same patch as above.

The summary should be changed to indicate that Office 2007 is also affected. (I
don't have the permissions to do it.)

Office 2007 Installation also fails about 2/3 way through. Affected by the same

Officce 2007 Installer log

Confirming for 1.1.17, Office 2007. Log attached.

I give serial, agree to EULA, press install and shortly after the progress bar
stars moving the installer displays a dialog about an error detected.
