Adobe Reader 6.0.1:

There is nothing displayed in the Zoomfactor Field and in the Pagenumber Field
with builtin "riched20.dll"
Both fields works with native "riched20.dll"

I changed the Zoom-Factor between the Debug-Marks
This stubs might be the Problem:

Also clicking in the blank space where page number should be causes Acrobat Pro
6 to crash.

Confirm still present in 1.0-rc1.

Far more interesting, however, is that this bug is NOT present in either
Acrobat Pro 7 or Acrobat Reader 7.

As of 1.0-rc2, clicking in these two fields no longer causes Acrobat Pro 6 to
crash. Instead, the mouse cursor changes to the Acrobat "little white hand" and
cannot be changed back. While this basically forces you to kill the app, I
suppose it's still better than actually crashing.

as of wine 1.1.1, it is no longer possible to install Acrobat Reader 6, 7, or
8. I get the following error:

err:module:import_dll Library MSVCP60.dll (which is needed by L"C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\plug_ins\Annotations\Annots.api") not
found

You need MSVCP60.dll and then Acrobat reader 6 starts up fine.

Foobard, I'm glad you're helping out with Wine by testing many different
features of Acrobat, but please open a new bug when you run into a problem like
this. (It would have been marked invalid, but that's ok.) Your problem has
nothing to do with the zoomfactor / pagenumber fields being empty, so please do
not clutter this bug with comments that don't belong here.

With a freshly-downloaded copy of Acrobat 6.01 and a clean .wine in wine 1.1.2
(plus `sh winetricks vcrun6`) this bug still exists.

I downloaded Adobe Reader 6.0.1 from
http://www.oldapps.com/adobe_reader.php?old_adobe=8?download
It installed without any problem. When I run it and opened some pdf file, I
still didn't see pagenumber and zoomfactor fields, despite having newest wine
1.5.1.

So the bug persisted the last 5 years and still is alive.

A dirty implementation of ITextSelection::SetText.

A dirty implementation of ITextSelection::SetText will make it happier.
But in face, it depends on more unimplemented functions of
IText{Selection/Range, Font, Para} interface.

In a clean WINEPREFIX the relevant values are now shown. They don't fit in the
box but they are shown.
