Wine has its own version of MSI. You should not need to be using the Microsoft
version. Wine 9.1 is not really current but I see from the download section that
this is the most current package that is available for Solarus. Perhaps you can
compile it yourself.

You could also contact Robert Lunnon [e-mail] the author of
the Solarus packages and see if he is willing to update them.
