Bug ID: 48963 Summary: wineusb.sys: Include file of libusb is named usb.h on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: ulrich.gemkow@ikr.uni-stuttgart.de Distribution: ---
Maybe it is too early for this report, then please apologize and ignore:
The new wineusb.sys assumes that the name of the libusb header file is libusb.h.
At least on Ubuntu 18.04 the include file is named usb.h. (see https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/i386/libusb-dev/filelist)

--- Comment #1 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- That's because Ubuntu's libusb-dev is version 0.1, but we build against version 1.0 (which Ubuntu ships as libusb-1.0-0-dev). I think it shouldn't even be possible to pick up 0.1 unless you're manually specifying arguments to configure.
