I got the game demo from the following URL:

http://www.4players.de/4players.php/download_start/Downloads/Download/5282.h...

The demo installs fine but then closes with a critical error window which says:

Assertion failed: RenDev
[File:D:\Code\XIII_Wan_Protected\WinDrv\Src\WinViewport.cpp] [Line: 532]

History: UWindowsViewport::OpenWindow <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

Hello folks,

works fine here with recent Wine 1.7.27

Please attach terminal output, backtraces, app logs bla bla if still present.

$ sha1sum XIII_UK_demo.zip

Hello again,

I think we can close this as "Invalid". I looked at the console output again
and (again) it is due to my broken i915 driver. I still attach my console
output and hope you agree with me.

No problem, remember that you can close your own bugs.

Resolving as invalid as the drivers were not correctly installed.
