--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2009-04-18 19:27:28 --- What software did you installed? scdemu.sys is not part of Wine. Google thinks it's PowerISO Virtual Drive.

--- Comment #2 from Aroll aroll605@gmail.com 2009-04-19 12:16:45 --- I have PowerISO installed with its virtual drive, indeed.
Otherwise, I have World of Goo, World of Warcraft, Shareaza, Ares, DVD Decrypter, SpeedFan, SQLyog, WinPcap, Steam, Warcraft III with Frozen Throne, Guitar Pro 5 trial, AutoIt v3.
I forgot to mention that $ winecfg works, so this is not a priority issue, in my opinion.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-04-19 19:41:49 --- There's not a bug. The function isn't implemented, but winecfg still works. The problem is that virtual drive loads its driver on each wine process startup and you see that error.

--- Comment #5 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2009-04-19 21:11:43 --- Austin tell me how is this bug invalid??? Is this function implemented? Will a kernel driver work for that uses this function? What does it matter _what_ user running?

The bug was reported about winecfg, which works fine.
Sure, that function is not implemented, but we don't have a bug for every stub in wine. Just last week, you closed about 5 bugs for that reason. Please be consistent.

--- Comment #8 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr 2009-04-19 23:57:22 --- I think that bugs about unimplemented function should not be closed, since they show what functiond need to be umplemented first to be useful in the real life.

Agreed. But AFAICT, there's not a bug to fix.
The original comment was about winecfg, which works fine. If there is a bug in some other program, the summary needs to be updated appropriately, or closed as invalid.
You can see a bunch of these sort of bugs by installing wmp9, but it still works fine (and winecfg will report about a dozen unimplemented functions).
Aroll, what is the problem with your application, if any?

--- Comment #10 from Aroll aroll605@gmail.com 2009-04-20 11:03:12 --- No problem with 'winecfg' as far as I can notice. Other applications work just fine as well (World of Goo, for example, heh, that's all I use in Wine right now).

Regards,
Exactly. There is no bug.
You can safely ignore terminal output/errors. If you have a real problem, however, be sure to check it for messages.
