In flight more in cockpit view graphical errors are seen. PDA screen is
invisible after few seconds of flight and looking into right side of cockpit
shows a vertical shape. These have not been observed with previously tested
wine versions. Broken PDA makes the game in practice unplayable in any serious
manner.

Video card and driver? Is compiz/3d desktop effects disabled?

NVIDIA 7900GS, driver version 177.82.

No compiz or anything like that. This is Lenny with default KDE settings.

confirming for Geforce 8, NVIDIA 180 driver, no compiz etc.

Upgraded to version 180. It did not help.

I'm having the same problem. My video card is:

03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 9300 / nForce
730i (rev b1)

running this driver

NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-185.18.36-pkg2.run

on

2.6.28-15-generic

not sure what version of wine I'm running. If someone could tell me how to get
this from the terminal, I'll post it.

I don't get this errors anymore, but game crashes with double linked list
errors...
wine 1.3.2, nvidia 8800, 195.36.24
