commandline output when running "wine MinitroidTechDemo.exe"

When starting the Minitroid tech demo, I get the following error message:

Program Error

The program MinitroidTechDemo.exe has encountered a series problem and needs
to close.  We are sorry of the inconvenience.

there is a brief animation in the window, then the window goes black.  No
further interaction is possible.  I cannot click on the window or the error
message, which means I cannot close the error message.  I have to use ctrl-c to
make it stop.

As a workaround for Bug 26710 for the Minitroid tech demo, native d3dx9_36 was
used in this case.

Looks like your missing some gstreamer plugins. Try getting those and running
the game again.

Use 'winetricks nocrashdialog', hopefully you'll get a better backtrace then.

It looks like the necessary gstreamer dependencies are not available from my
distribuion.  I have submitted a request to have them included but I cannot
complete that part of your request until I do so.

I ran winetricks nocrashdialog, but the backtrace was full of gstreamer-related
stuff.  I will post an update once the necessary packages are available since
it doesn't look like the backtrace will be useful until the gstreamer-related
issues are resolved.

Is this still a problem in Wine 1.6 or 1.7.2 (or newer)?

I think this works now.

You don't get text drawn because unimplented function drawtexta/w, but I can
see the animation and start even the game.
