[Bug 3005] Bink video causes Alien vs Predator Gold to freeze untill killed

Currently there are still short but annoying freezes/lags in main menu when
game becomes non-responding and sounds stops for a short while. Just as the
original report states similar things happen in XP w/ DirectX9. Much shorter
than 10-15 sec though, but this could depend on how fast the machine is.
