a backtrace of the bug

So, I installed wine from the (what appears to be) a ubuntu archive, or
something? since it downloaded 5.0-3ubuntu1 (not sure if i entered the correct
version) and attempted to wine a setup program from a cd/dvd, and then it gave
me that error.

I simply used apt-get wine, so that might explain the first sentence and/or the
version.

At first, install the latest wine (devel) version
https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu

And give the name of the application you try to install.
Does there exist a freely downloadable version?
