The above contains the error log as well as the terminal output right from when
the game is started

The game blacksouls II is as stated above an obscure rpg maker vx ace game
The game works fine when the it is started and the first boss is defeated
however going into the town and coming into contact with an enemy to commence
battle crashes the game
The above is also the way to reproduce the crash
The necessary information is in the attachment
wine version is 8.5 development

While wine for some reason handles it less than gracefully, the very start of
the log says you're missing one of gstreamer plugins for mp3 files. Fix that
first, so we could see if this is a genuine bug.

I installed the plugins, restarted and tried again in the game
Unfortunately the crashes are still occurring and as far as i can tell it is
the same error

Did you install the 32-bits version of gstreamer libraries?

When you have done, if the bug still occurs, please attach a new console
output.

sorry for asking but how do i find the 32 bit versions of these plugins?

From your latest message, you installed 64 bit version of gstreamer only.
That's not enough to make wine happy. YOu have to install the 32 bits version
too.

alright it seems that the problem was the missing plugins 
game seems to be working fine after install the base ugly and base 32 bit
plugins
this can be removed now as it does not count as a bug

Problem was fixed all i was missing was some gstreamer plugins
