I'm still getting a crash with builtin gdiplus, but I think it's different from
the one originally reported. It seems GdipCloneBitmapArea is failing with
WrongState (apparently the bitmap is locked), but I haven't figured out why.

I don't get a crash with the patch applied. The GUI doesn't look right, but
that'd be a different bug.

I can successfully start Temper with wine-1.2-rc4, and the relevant fix was
committed a long time ago, so resolving accordingly.
