VirtualBox won't work because I don't know why. I just tried it and it said a problem probably caused it.

Why not? It's a widely used windows application that tests a lot of Windows APIs.
It may not be easy, but it's a valid request.

With winehq devel packages 9.0, 9.1 and 9.10 I received no crash, instead a "msi:execute_script Execution of script 0 halted" error, which cancelled the installation.
With winehq package 9.16 and local build the installer completes with some error messages, but no crash. With builtin vc runtime registry key from bug 56695 is needed. Also no crash with native "winetricks vcrun2019" in fresh prefix.
So could not reproduce the installer crash.
