I was tried Steam with large download (doom3 + counter strike source) and my
system run out of memory. After i try guildwards to download full source - same
issue. Look like wine have leaks with network transfer

How much ram / swap do you have? I've successfully downloaded HL 2 and portal
before.

I can't reproduce it anymore. That happens once, and probably other problem.

my swap space 2gb, my memory size is 2gb. when i report bug my system going to
die and i run 'top' utility and last things what i saw is steam.exe eat 2gb...

later i was tried to reload games again, and everything going fine.

i report bug immediately after i got an error. now, after few tries, i think
that bug is invalid. sorry.
