As I have also had the same problems with serial related term programs, including Hyperterm, TerraTerm and others.
They both exhibit the same problem, DATA seems to go OUT, but never seems to come IN.
I wonder if any developers are working on it, or are even aware of it, I guess people don't use serial ports much anymore.
It appear to be a fundamental problem in the serial/file code, relating to the overlapped thing. Obviously, I don't know much about it, but there is definitely something wrong.
Other than this problem, I have found Wine to be really excellent, thanks and keep up the great work...
