which application is this?  do you have a backtrace of the crash which you can
attach?

i have wine-0.9.56 and clean ~/.wine and archlinux (core dump) and kernel
2.6.24 and intel X3100 graphics and direct rendering: Yes

if i start LFS.exe ( wine LFS.exe ) i see only this backtrace (in attachments)
- no window or anything else

install (7zip self extract) with wine-git to C:\LFS
