--- Comment #3 from vinibali vinibali1@gmail.com --- Hi!
I think it's not related to the Vegas version 16. I have the experience with the trial version of Vegas 13. The files are getting extracted to the destination folder, and in the last few steps - before the installer finishes - the files just gone. I had a try with a normal filesystem (btrfs) and tmpfs.

--- Comment #4 from vinibali vinibali1@gmail.com --- This problem seems to be gone, at least on Wine 5.8 and 5.9. I didn't test older versions!

--- Comment #5 from Aurora Robb Kristiansen isoginchaku@protonmail.com --- This still happens, tried installing Vegas Pro 14, 17 and 19 with Wine-staging 6.20, 6.21 and 6.22.
It does copy files, but at some point during installation it (I assume) realizes something is wrong, and begins reverting the entire install process; unregistering DLLs and removes all the files it copied to the install directory. Once it has removed everything it copied, it reports success, as if the program installed without issue.

--- Comment #6 from Michał Dec moog621@gmail.com --- This bug does not only affect Vegas Pro 16, but also 15, 17 and 18. The bug is easily reproducible on Wine-staging 7.22 on Fedora 37.

--- Comment #7 from Michał Dec moog621@gmail.com --- Oh, I forgot to mention. When working with Fedora 37 and Wine-staging 7.22, this bug DOES NOT occur on Vegas Pro 19. However, this new version requires dotnet48 instead of dotnet40. Maybe Wine's handling of those dotnet versions is different?

--- Comment #8 from brandow brandowlucas@gmail.com --- This problem also occurred to me, but somehow installing dotnet48 fixed the issue.
