--- Comment #2 from Jouni Järvinen jounijarvis@gmail.com --- You haven't upgraded the Wine version, and I told you to in the rejection message.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39519
--- Comment #3 from Giorgos Kostopoulos giorgosk67@gmail.com --- 1) Well...I'll be happy to update to the very latest version, when it will be released. :-) I'm on the latest Mint, which is Ununtu LTS based, so I'm using the latest binaries for my OS, from the official PPA repository.
2) For the bug report, that I had to attach it beforehand...my fault! :-) I linked it later.
If you want me to compile Wine from sources, please prompt me to an up to date documantation, because the official one, is a bit outdated. As for the a bit outdated binaries, you have to contact to the official packager for Ubuntu based systems.
Bye! :-) G.

I stand corrected. Wine 1.7.53 is included in https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/ according to the browsing listing but only 1.7.18 is available for 12.04.x LTS, where 1.7.50 is available for 14.04.x LTS. Kinda disgraceful if you ask me, but there are also no ways to drop a ticket apart from Bugzilla here, which doesn't seem like correct place.
Drop the test result again, this time specifying a newer binary isn't available for Mint and I'll accept it right away.

--- Comment #5 from Giorgos Kostopoulos giorgosk67@gmail.com --- Oh, I see! The usual "dependencies hell" problem. You can't have the latest binaries, without having a bleeding edge distro. Kinda strange, but Debian already has v.1.7.52 ready for installation (from backports).
Personally, I'm returning back to my roots and migrating to Debian these days, so I can test it there and see what's happening. So I'll be back asap (hopefully). :-)
Bye! G.

--- Comment #6 from super_man@post.com --- I dont see a crash, but I only see 2 pages of "intro", any of the keyboard dont seem to respond, expect esc that quits the program. How I supposed to go forward or how this is supposed to look like?

wine 2.0rc5 and staging 2.0rc5.
The game is played with the mouse, that is why it does not respond to keyboard ;-)
I cannot reproduce the issue in Wine 2.0-rc6 nor 1.7.7, but I'm testing in 32 bit Wine, while the comment 0 log shows a possible 64 bit environment.

Indeed.
wine 2.0rc6 32bit prefix works. wine 2.0rc6 64bit prefix staging works.

--- Comment #10 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com --- Is this still an issue in Wine 2.0-rc6 (or later)?

--- Comment #11 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Just tested it, works fine. Even in a 64bit prefix.
Only thing is that it doesn't update the screen when in fullscreen, only works with virtual desktop. But no crash.
