Bug ID: 52321 Summary: "winecfg:open_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 3" ONLY on 32-bit Linux (tested WINE 7.0, 6.22) Product: Wine Version: 7.0-rc2 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: nyyr1@tiscali.cz Distribution: ---
Created attachment 71483 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=71483 winecfg log
When installed on 32-bit linux distro (tested MX Linux 21 with Debian Bullseye packages, openSUSE Tumbleweed) this happens:
See attached log.<<<
winecfg then reports in the Disks tab:
"Failed to connect to the mount manager; the drive configuration cannot be edited."
This error does NOT exhibit on the 64-bit distro version.
However, when used WINE packages from MX Linux 21 repository, this did not happen. So probably not caused by a bug in WINE source code, but rather due to some default build option/dependencies used.
