Installs fine, but on my machine, it crashes after putting up its "Loading"
screen unless I set sound hardware acceleration to emulation in
winecfg/registry,

Saw this in log
err:mmdevapi:ACR_ReleaseBuffer Starting from 1014
and whaddayaknow, disabling mmdevapi also works around the abort.

I dont have that problem in default, clean wine 1.3.5 in default Ubuntu 10.10.

Works with wine from git for me now.

(And, incidentally, the only native dll the game needs at all is d3dx9_36.)
