Hello!
I was recently installing the HRC Data Logger Software. It comes with DirectX 0.9b. Installation runs without any problems. When calling the program, it shows some error dialogs, such as: "Error 91: Object variable or width block variable not set". The open file dialog shows this error box: "Error 429: ActiveX component can't create object". The file open dialog then is somewhat damaged: The combo box that holds the drives only shows one entry: Desktop. If you put a file there and open it, you get some messages from above, and no charts are displayed. Please see the attachment for the output. I can reproduce this behaviour at any time. I am using kubuntu jaunty jackalope.
best regards, Hans-Peter
