Results of pings to winehq.org

I tried to find out what reason may be causing this slow connection:

First I pinged winehq.org. To have a reference I did the same to the "White
House" in Washington D.C. They may have a fast connection to Europe. To get an
other reference my next target was the "Hennepin County Library". I never was
there but the German Wikipedia linked to it.
An other reference was the City of Minneapolis.

All are faster than the connection to WinHQ (according to my info Winhq and
maybe also their servers, are there)

Confirming. Sometimes they appear to be dead for several minutes at a time,
then come back.

Sorry for my late reaction:

The delay I described in the bug description is now gone.
The "winehq" websites are howing its contents immediatly!

So I will set this bug to "resolved".
