The game complained about missing "X3DAudio1_7.dll". I used winetricks to
install directx but it didn't work, I then manually placed that .dll into the
game directory next to the executable in
~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Oovee/Spin Tires/
and the game threw these errors...

Is this crash before or after you added the native DLL?

Sorry ken, literally just noticed your message the now. Moved on since then,
new wine & wine dir. Honestly forgot if it was before or after i added the dll
override. but if you were to put a gun to my head i would say after... will
check spin tires with clean wine dir in 1.5.26 and see if the crash can be
reproduced. Give me 10 mins.

Exactly the same...

without the dll override and with a dll override i get.... 1.5.26_crash_log
attachment added.

same os as last time, no format. only change is updated wine (1.5.12 ~1.5.26)
and new kit. I've went from msi 4GB gt630 graphics card to zotac 4GB gtx 680
graphics card.

Following "winetricks xact" to workaround Bug 12182 the app reports that it is
unable to read a configuration file and crashes out in locale.c.
