Trying to install and run a program called DealMaster Pro (DMPRO) which works on W98, but not in wine 0.9.33. a) su to root, run wine /media/cdrom0/setup.exe Splash screen opens, but actual windows intall window is behind splash screen which does not close. Have to deduce it is there and resize splash screen to get to it. b) Install proceeds OK, but trying to run the program causes a crash of the wine server see attachment. Greg Morse

Why are you running wine as root? Also, cd to the directory first, don't use the Unix path.
