Expectation: Video plays inside original window and not inside an extra window
Trial is http://suezou.dyndns.org/dl2014/tone-works/hoshiori/hoshiori_tr_web_v2.zip.
I used the launch flags "TZ=Asia/Tokyo LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 wine Siglus Engine.exe". (Other executables in folder crash the game. Thank you for your help.

--- Comment #1 from Fabian Maurer dark.shadow4@web.de --- Confirming.
For some reason it crashes on first start, then it asks whether to use "MCI" or "Windows Media Player". You need to select "MCI", then click the right button. Does the same happen for you?
I tried to archive the download in web.archive.org, but it's either to big or the archive doesn't like me today. If you can, an archive would be useful.

--- Comment #2 from q6c9o8+4wqtcbddeyj80@sharklasers.com --- Works for me out of the box. I have all the gstreamer-plugins installed. Maybe that's the difference causing your initial crash?

Confirming. Copying the relevant dll from my windows 11 installation and overriding the dll fixes the issue.
