Summary: Debain lenny recomends ia32-libjack0 etc... Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: rerogers@plaidheron.com
Hi, I followed the instructions for downloading Debian Lenny and it worked fine. The package recommends: http://www.winehq.org/download/deblennyia32-libaudio2 ia32-libesd-alsa0 ia32-libesd0 ia32-libjack0 ia32-libcapi20-3 ia32-libcapi20 Apparently the current Lenny replaces these with ia32-libs and the recommends don't exist. I have lost the record but the audio/ia32 process produced a bunch of confusing processe messages while I was downloading ia32-libs. As far as I can tell Rosetta stone worked without either though. Confusing or not your version wine seems to be working fine: Congratulations!

Closing.
It is not a website bug. I believe the recommendation comes from inside the debian xx.deb package. I could be wrong, but the "recommendation" came from the package unpacker, aptitude, during setup.

--- Comment #5 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-10-14 12:25:38 CDT --- Then Dmitry was right, not a wine bug. Tell Debian/debian maintainer.
I looked at the website before having my coffee :-p.
