Pavel, thankyou for reporting this bug.  I can confirm that Heroes IV is 
broken in 0.9.37, while working in 0.9.36.

You need to install git ('emerge git') and then find the commit which caused 
the regression.

For the record, it is actually only full-screen mode which is broken; running 
in a window works just fine in 0.9.37.
