When it prompts for the 2nd disc, you have to use 'wine eject' to pop the disc out (not plain old eject, not pressing the drive button) because setup.exe is still open. Fortunately, 'wine eject' works well, and after inserting the 2nd disc and pressing 'retry', all continues well... right up until the point where it runs some custom action and aborts the install, seemingly near the end. I'll attach the +msi log.
