I wanted to play NFS Underground, i installed game and applied NoCD crack, everything went fine. I run the game, but I saw the font is missing.
I can't attach terminal log because the game is not launching when I try to run it from terminal.

Can't confirm. Font is correctly rendered in both wine 1.3.7 and 1.3.9.
I also tried full version and demo version. Again, both versions renders fonts.

Maybe it's somthing with my OS (Ubuntu 10.10), my graphics card (Radeon Xpress 200M) or drivers (Mesa 7.9-devel). I'll try again when Ubuntu 11.04 beta come out.

This could be the reason. I saw someting similar in bug 24097. If this is the same problem, there is a work around see commnet #25 (the kernel nopat option).

I finally forund NFS cd, ran system with nopat, but it still doesn't work.

This is probably a driver problem thus status->INVALID. It's not just font - that initial menu screens lacks much more and it is also too dark.

Mine is a bit different, it is that the cars are black, the font is black, and just everything else is black, the only thing i can see is the lights and the back lights of the car and the blue selections thing.
