I have been trying to get Rebirth on my school macbook air for a long time now
and it was on here working fine last year but i got it back and it just opens
to a black screen and wine says there is a fatal error and when i hit show more
info it just loads forever. I have all the admin info and i can do anything i
want to this laptop.

If it's a steam version, you have to install Steam client in Wine, and install
game with it. How are you running it now? Is it a copy of a game installed on
Windows?

It's not the steam version. The only thing i can't get is steam so i cracked
the game on my pc and i moved it over to my macbook and for a long time it
worked. Now it does nothing or it opens and black screens instantly and
crashes.

Well, we can't support that configuration. Feel free to reopen if you can
reproduce it with legitimate copy.

Hello folks,

as already told by Nikolay: there is no reason to resort to piracy here.
A legit purchase of the game from Steam should work.

The problem here is related to the crack itself, and for that reason I won't go
into details nor provide the solution.
