Maxthon Cloud Browser fails to install. It downloads the installer file (it's
an "online installer"), but when you click the install button it shows that the
installation has failed.

It seems that the installer is working (albeit not visually okay), but the
launching doesn't work. I changed the bug's title and you can find the terminal
output above.

Terminal output in 1.5.27

This problem exists in wine-1.5.27-174-ge2b88dc
But I can't find any clue in the terminal output.

After I launched the installer, it hanged and I had to use Crtl+C to kill it.

By the way, I downloaded from http://dl.maxthon.cn/mx4/mx4.0.5.3000cn.exe

It makes the unimplemented line go away. Actually I think this bug is fixed
because the program starts and the next problem is bug 33350.

Not sure what you're saying.  Does Maxthon get past this and on to 
bug 33350 even without winetricks vcrun2008?  (i.e. is the _wfindfirst32
problem a separate bug?)

Maxthon starts with or without vcrun. The missing function is a separate issue
from another process the app starts when launching.

This bug is indeed fixed (if you don't take the ugly install window into
account)

I have wine 1.7 and Maxthon Cloud Browser 4.1.3.1200

And only opens a window on white.
