With Tomb raider Anniversary && Legend, there's some bink video for intros and
inside games. When these videos are played, I noticed some graphical corruption
and performance issues (massive slowdown).

Currently I'm using wine 1.3.23, but I remember (very) old versions of wine
that did not have these problems. I found bug #3112 on the same subject.

I tried to install the Tomb Raider Legend demo [1] into a new WINEPREFIX, to
see if I can reproduce. With this demo, I found another funny issue : when
launching the demo, the bink video intro is played, I can hear the music, but
the screen is completely black. This does not happen with the retail version (I
do have only graphical corruption with retail).

Can't confirm. Tomb Raider Anniversary plays the bink videos well here. Tested
under:
 * wine-1.3.23, wine-1.3.25-99-g093547e

The demo of TR Legend truly will not display nvidia logo, but that is the
different issues and should not be mixed with the initially reported problem. I
track it till 1.1.36, where the logo is still missing. 1.1.35 and lower crash
on start-up. (You can use this info for a new bug;)

Here [1] is a video of the tomb raider legend bink intro from the retail
version which shows the graphical corruption I'm talking about (no sound on the
video). The corruption is very similar into bink videos from tomb raider
anniversary.

Seems to be videocard related.
On the video, video card was an nvidia GeForce 6200 AGP.
I upgraded the video card to a more decent one (PCI Express), and eveything is
fine.
