Explorer 6.1SP1 ran on wine cvs with --winver=winxp cannot download its setup files (Please make sure you are connected to the Internet..etc). The error messages follow. Please not networking seems to work since the kazaa installer downloaded its components fine. Winehack preloads a library prior to running wine to solve the threading issue with glibc 2.3.1.

------- Additional Comments From mike <at> theoretic.com 2003-03-30 15:16 ------- Are you behind a proxy?
By explorer, I assume you mean Internet Explorer?
------- Additional Comments From ivg2 <at> cornell.edu 2003-03-30 22:06 ------- Yes I mean internet explorer. No I am not behind a proxy.
------- Additional Comments From mike <at> theoretic.com 2003-03-31 03:57 ------- Confirming as I've seen this issue before, I normally just copy the files it downloads into the same directory. I thought it'd be fixed by a patch that went in a few weeks ago, but that was for proxies.
