This is not a duplicate of bug 657: I've workaronded that bug installing mfc40 and mfc42 through wine, so the errors coming from bug 657 disappared, but the error blocking the execution is unchanged; this is the new console log.

But there may be something amiss with winetricks; it then fails with wine: Call from 0x7ece47a2 to unimplemented function msvcrt.dll._wcsncoll, aborting I'll have a look and file the right next bug.

You likely need to install mfc42 before installing the program so it can register its dlls properly.

Also after that mfc42 is installed, I can't run the setup program anyway.
