Hi, so it crashes while trying to start? Could you provide exact downloadlink as the program seems to be free. I downloaded from https://www.openshot.org/nl/ and the application starts fine here.

Or does it crash when you "do some things"

I have a similar problem w/ VSDC Video Editor, except it doesn't even give an error message. I think I'll try to upgrade my version of Linux Mint (currently on 18). If that's not enough I may need some more RAM (currently 4GB).

It seems the problem was with Linux Mint 18.3. I switched to 19.3 and it was in the package manager. I downloaded and ran it with little problem.
