Text that is displayed in the Source Insight editor window is seen on top of another application even when Source Insight is no longer in focus. This behaviour is random and is exhibited on mouse movements.

Dmitry, you are absolutely correct. This is indeed a ATI video driver problem. The pci card I am using is an ATI Technologies Inc Radeon X1200 Series, and the problematic driver is "fglrx".
No overlap is now seen in Source Insight, once you uninstall "fglrx".

This could be a nvidia driver problem. Lucky for me there was an open source version of the ATI driver that works without much glitch. If you have sufficient proof that this is *not* a driver issue, you could reopen this bug.
