Tested Firefox 2.0.0.12 EN-US and NL, both crash when attempting to load
http://news.google.com

Looks like a regression between 0.9.53 and 0.9.54, did a regression test:

Once I follow an advice from
http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/faq/fontissues
the crash is gone for me. Could you try that and see if it helps?

Then this bug is invalid. The crash occurs while Firefox is trying to
parse ukai.ttf directly.
