The main setup.exe file is excecuted, but when you press the "English Version",
the "German installer" or the respective excecutable files, nothing happends at
all. The program seems to start, but then it just closes.

Unfortunately, the demo installer linked only corresponds to German, and it
simply performs self-extraction of the demo files.

I think this is the location you get the demo, I had to click multiple times to
get there.

The demo in comment #5 installs in 1.2, 1.3.15, and wine-1.7.23-78-g4a6ce97.

In any case, OP hasn't responded in years, marking abandoned.
