Possible partial workaround is to ignore the crash and don't close
the fatal dialog, just leave it there.  See bug 9401.

I haven't seen this in a while in DNS 9,
and DNS 7 doesn't even install on machines
with > 2GB of RAM, so closing as "don't care, probably fixed" :-)
