The trial version of Alcohol 120% fails to install with an error popup message
box that says, "failed to initialize service, code 0".

wine --version is "wine-6.5"

Seems to be an old wine bug where sptd wasn't really implemented, and no
updates ever really seemed to happen:

Fixed this issue by changing the Windows version from the default of Windows 7
to Windows 10.

There is a nuance: Alcohol soft themselves declare that Alcohol 120% Trial
2.1.0.30316 should work in Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10.

Bug reporter stated wine would not let him launch the program with windows 7
option.

Maybe it's worth loosing Wine's requirements to let it launch with windows 7
(and vista) option?

So I see that this is supposed to work under Windows 7, so I changed status to
unconfirmed.
