Bug ID: 46607 Summary: For Honor crash on "double free or corruption" Product: Wine Version: 4.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: riesi@opentrash.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 63506 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=63506 Log with +relay,+heap
The game For Honor from Ubisoft crashes after starting it in Uplay with a "double free or corruption" error message in the logs.
This does not happen, if I downclock my CPU or when using +relay,+heap to track the issue down. Which indicates that this is probably a race condition.
I hope the attached log with +relay,+heap is useful to track the issue down even though it does not crash with it. I killed the game a few seconds after the game window rendered, which should be far enough since it does not even get remotely that far without the debug channels.
Kind regards, Riesi

--- Comment #2 from Stefan Riesenberger stefan.riesenberger@gmail.com --- Looks like the game does not crash with this error anymore. It's still not playable, but this issue seems to be resolved.
