when i 'close' or minimize utorrent 2.0.1, it goes to the tray with a little
icon of utorrent; instead, in the tray there's a space... a space full of
nothing and the utorrent is gone! when i re-click on the utorrent.exe it emerge
a window of the program, showing that the program was still working.

So you are reporting that uTorrent's tray icon is not drawn properly, and
appears empty?

Mine shows an icon in the system tray when "closed", and it looks fine. What
Linux are you using? What window manager are you using?

Back in Ubuntu 9.10 there was this bug, now i've upgrade to 10.04 and it works
fine!
Yeah.. it seems that it was an Ubuntu bug.

But now when i move the mouse over the tray icon, it redraws the icon very
slowly, creating an effect weird and ugly.

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 64, and it works fine.
Yes, when you move the mouse over the system tray icons you can see how they
are redrawn (they flicker).

Were you using Compiz, or did you enable Extra Visual Effects in Appearance
Preferences?

Not at all (effects of compiz or anything).

I think that maybe it was that the video controller of my Ati didn't work very
well in 9.10

So far in 10.04 the controller works well and the tray icon too... maybe is
that??

I'm sorry to say this, but about the previous post it's only sometimes that the
tray icon appears... it's not there about 90% of time...

Another thing to say is that when the icon is not there i click over it and
nothing happens!

So the bug is still kicking.

Do you have the bar set to autohide?  Does it occur when the bar is not set to
autohide, or if the tray is visible when the app loads?
