Fireworks 8 trial
(Fireworks8-en.exe, sha1sum fc254cbabb084a9d619e0277dd3a46b20fbd48aa)
installs and runs fine in general in my 60 seconds of
extensive testing.  The first problem I noticed was
that opening an existing image from the initial "what
do you want to do" splash dialog works, but doesn't
draw the unused part of the document window with background, leaving
large remnants of the "what do you want to do" dialog 
hanging around.  Maximizing the window or anything that forces
a redraw properly draws the background.

Just tested with installer obtained from
http://www.vhwild.com/david/Fireworks8-en.exe with Wine version
wine-1.1.1-191-g5798b95, and it seems that the problem described is fixed.
