This is a documentation bug only!

I was receiving an error when installing Jet 4.0 for use with BiblePro about
the failure to register a .tlb file.

Found that I had to install DCOM98 first to get around this error.

Suggest that winetricks ask this question:

Have you installed DCOM98?  (y/N) ?

With an abort message or call to DCOM 98 installation for Jet 4.0.

If this is already documented, please add this to the Jet 4.0 install
instructions.

Is this the error you're talking about:

err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\Program files\Common
files\Microsoft shared\dao\dao2535.tlb" failed with error 2

?  If so, that's not really an error, just a warning.

In any case, this is not the place for winetricks enhancement
requests, and the change you propose to winetricks won't
happen because dcom98 is not as good an idea as it sounds.
The right thing to do if an app requires COM
to work is for Wine to implement the missing part of COM.

Understood.  My programming skills are rudementary at best.  However, I do know
how to do Quality Assurance and should have attached the error message.  The
.tlb file is not installed, but with DCOM98 it is.  I agree the best way is to
fix COM but I think there are more pressing issues than this at the present
moment.
