Created an attachment (id=24567) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=24567) Wine output while running
Here is a logfile from a segfault crash from "Cities XL". The game ran great until an update that occured this week.
AppDB entry: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=10537
I already informed the Monte Christo game support, but maybe their answer will be "wine is not supported". So I decided to post it here to, maybe its a wine bug.
The game crashes when leaving the starter and loading the game. An Splashscreen image is displayed, and then the segfault box appears.
If I can provide any other information, please let me know.

Monte Christo logs some information to a directory "log". Maybe these information can help to find out where the problem comes from.

--- Comment #5 from Markus Sinner sinner@psitronic.de 2009-11-11 19:55:56 --- No, it still crashes.
I also reinstalled the game in a fresh prefix, nothing changes. Monte Christo was not able to help until now :-(

--- Comment #6 from Toony toony.sf@chezouam.net 2009-11-14 06:01:59 --- Same, still crash with Wine-1.1.32, d3dx9 and directx9.
I've compile wine from git (commit 8a17a028b73d1ccc5b7ebaa9e135a1bfbf159615 - release 1.1.33). It still crash on game loading, but wine logs messages have changed.
I join 2 logs : - wineDebug-trace+err.log.bz2 : execution logs of : $ WINEDEBUG=trace+err wine CitiesXL.exe - wineDebug-trace+err,+server.log.bz2 : execution logs of : $ WINEDEBUG=trace+err,+server wine CitiesXL.exe
I will try to re-install the game on fresh '.wine'. If I notice difference in log, I'll send them too.
May I help you in a better way ?

--- Comment #9 from Markus Sinner sinner@psitronic.de 2010-02-03 07:41:54 --- Downloading a newer version (1.0.4.396) from the official website fixes the problem, the game runs again.

--- Comment #10 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2011-10-02 11:45:49 CDT --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.29 or newer) wine?
