Had difficulty starting AceMoney.  Had to go into wine first

Then, when I got it open, the windows do not display properly.  They come in
smaller and have to be manipulated.  When I tried to access tech support
through Help, the program crashed and gave me the attached file

Your Wine version 2.16 is outdated and no longer supported. Upgrade.

AceMoney 4.36.6 - 30 days trial works fine here with recent Wine version.

Hello folks,

no further response for a long time, hence resolving 'WORKSFORME' here.
I couldn't even reproduce with Wine 2.16 this bug was reported against.

The vendor provides a .pkg for MacOS. Although it's still Wine (Wineskin) under
the hood it might work better for you.
